Estimating Costs
Quilting is charged by the square inch. It is easy to estimate the cost as follows:
- Measure your length and width in inches.
- Length x Width = Area
- Area x Price of chosen style = $ cost of quilting
Eg, your quilt is 78 inches Long and 60 inches wide
78 x 60 = 4680 square inches
4680 x $0.03 (All Over Quilting) = $140.40
Please note that this is the cost of quilting only and total cost will be dependant on the other products and services required, eg thread, batting, binding etc.
